COVID-19
We are sorry, but due to the unusual circumstances, and world pandemic to COVID-19, we had no choice but to suspend our Apple repairs and upgrade operation. In the meantime, we recommend contacting Apple Support or Authorised Apple Service Provider in your local area.
Once we stand on our feet again, we will post another update and let our customer know.
General
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to diagnostic, analytical, repair, part replacement, maintenance and other services to out-of-warranty Apple Products (“Services”, “Servicing” or similar term) by Filiotech Limited.
These Terms apply to any purchaser/owner and/or potential purchaser (“Customer”) of Apple computer hardware products and/or computer accessory products (“Products” or “Product”) seeking or receiving such Services.
If FilioTech Limited and Customer have entered into a separate written contract relating to the Services, these Terms apply additionally to the extent not inconsistent with the terms of that separate agreement.
Right to decline to repair
FilioTech Limited reserves the right to decline to repair or provide other Services on Products if the manufacturer’s serial number has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible, or if the Products have been physically, mechanically or electronically altered (whether from the manufacturer’s original design and/or specifications or otherwise), or improperly used.

Customer will be responsible for transport costs and other expenses incurred by FilioTech Limited in returning Products (whether or not serviced) to Customer, including the diagnostic fee referred to in section below.
Repair Turnaround
The Repair turnaround might take up to 5 working days, depending on parts availability and complex of the repair. Average turnaround is 1-3 working days, but in some cases same or next day!
Out system will keep you up-to-date with Email & SMS notification about any delays.
Replacement Parts
Parts and components used to repair or provide other Services on Products, will be either Apple Authorised parts or third party upon further agreement with the customer, for example Hard Drives, SSD Drives, RAM etc. and, in accordance with Apple Computer policy, may be new or reconditioned.
Reconditioned parts will meet the same factory specifications as new parts and will be their functional equivalent.
All replaced (ie. defective) parts and components of Products serviced by FilioTech Limited, become the property of FilioTech Limited and Customers will not be compensated or otherwise credited in respect thereof.
Diagnostic Fee
To cover our engineering time our Diagnostic fee cost £80 + VAT for any Out of Warranty, Software related, Accidentally damaged units that don't proceed forward with the repair. After initial Diagnostic, full quotation for the repair will be provided.
If Customer accept the quote, the Diagnostic fee of £80 + VAT will be waived.
Sometimes we can fix the issue while troubelshooting your Mac, for example, resetting SMC, re-connecting cables, RAM etc. In those cases, the standard diagnostic fee of £80 + VAT will be applied.
Backup & Your DATA
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that ALL critical data has been backed up, and that appropriate recovery procedures are in place. Every effort is made to prevent loss of data, FilioTech Limited can accept NO liability for loss or corruption of data stored on computer being repaired.
Additional fee of £100 + VAT will be added if computer that is being repair requires additional Backup solution. Your computer DATA will be transferred onto Our Backup System, either as a Individual files & folders or Time Machine Backup or Full Disk Image, depends on the state of your Mac Hard drive and macOS.
The Backup DATA will be Securely erased as soon as repair is marked as complete.
Warranty
FilioTech Limited warrants that Services will be properly performed and the repaired Product will function properly and in accordance with applicable Apple specifications, for 3 months after repair, replacement or other Services (as applicable). This warranty does not apply to:
1. Periodic maintenance and repair
2. Any consumable supplied with the Product, such as batteries or chargeable batteries
3. physical damage to the computer
4. Damage to or loss of any software programs, data, or removable storage media
5. Any damage resulting from adaptations, changes or adjustments which may have been made to the Product, without the prior written consent of Apple Computer.
Further, this warranty does not cover damage due to the following:
a) misuse, including failure to use Products for its intended purpose in accordance with Apple Computer’s instructions on the proper use and maintenance,
b) installation or use of the Product in a manner inconsistent with technical or safety standards of any country of the European Economic Area and Switzerland in which the Product is used or installed,
c) connection to incorrect voltage supply,
d) use of the Product in conjunction with third party accessories, products or ancillary or peripheral equipment not authorized or recommended by Apple Computer,
e) attempted repair by any party other than by or authorised by Filiotech Limited, and
f) accidents, lightning, water, fire or any other such cause beyond the reasonable control Filiotech Limited. Issues reported after 3 months from the date computer has been repaired, will be subjected to cover full repair fee.
Unclaimed Products
FilioTech Limited reserves the right to treat Products as abandoned, if they are uncollected for more than 3 months and invoice for the service remain unpaid.
Abandoned Products will be sold or used at our sole discretion.
